Today, using online COD measurement will support you to precisely trace leaks in the factory and to determine their possible causes

Innovative Analysis Technology

Measuring real-time COD is becoming progressively more and more significant as we endeavor to take better care of our environment. Today, using online COD measurement will support you to precisely trace leaks in the factory and to determine their possible causes. This can save money during the production process as well as in the WWTP (less consumption of oxygen and therefore less sludge).

COD is normally measured in the lab through chemical reactions with oxygen. With our ultrasonic analysers we can now provide a different way to measure the amount of COD in real time: CODeq (equivalant results, but using improved technology). At PMA, we use an arrangement of various ultrasonic technologies in a single sensor, in combination with a conductivity sensor, to determine CODeq and TSSeq. The default factory-programmed calibration is an advanced regression model, based on the ultrasonic properties of a variation of the most common organic materials, such as alcohols, sugars, and so on.

Discover the 9500 Series

The 9500 series ternary analysers is used to analyse electrolytes and surface treatment fluids. Using the innovative analysis technology and sensor design of our analyser, it is possible to monitor, continuously and in-line, two chemical mechanisms in a solution.
